"This book idea has been inside me since I was little. Craig has based the main character off me as a young girl, which means so much to me. The book is about death, which I know is a difficult subject but one I really wanted to create for kids. 

I remember the first time my eldest son realised that one day I would die. He cried and cried. It was bittersweet for me because I could see at just five years of age that he loved me so much, but that he would be so sad without me. I told him that I would always be with him, even if my physical body wasn't.

This book is about trying to let children know that we will always be a part of them. That death is natural and should be talked about.

Our children can experience the loss of their pets, the loss of grandparents, and many young children unfortunately lose siblings and parents too. Like with everything we do, we believe in preparing our children with the words to be able to discuss and share their emotions and in this book help with grieving too".
